The Cara Box
The Cara Box
cara (car-rah) noun : beloved friend
Awesome things in the mail + Meeting new women + Encouragement = Cara Box
Last month, I posted about how I found out about the Cara Box exchange that was hosted by the wonderful Kaitlyn over at Wifesessionals. How it works is that you sign up at the beginning of the month and Kaitlyn pairs you with two different people, one to send you a package and one for you to send a package to. You get to know these two people over the course of the month, their likes and dislikes and details about their lives, and then compile a box which fits the monthly theme, and send it off to them! I absolutely loved this idea because who doesn't love getting surprise packages in the mail?
This was the second month that I signed up for this, and I am so happy that I did! I was paired with two lovely ladies, Emily at Be Blessed Ya'll (I was sending to her) and Ann Marie at Royalty Sparkles (she was sending to me.)
This month's theme was "Seasons of Life." Kaityln paired everyone by what stage of life they were in; age, single or married, kids or no kids. Then you had to learn about your partner and compile a box that was all about what they like!
Let me tell you, Ann Marie got me PERFECTLY! Here's what she sent to me:
I LOVE Starbucks, and reusable cups, so I can't wait to take this to work with me! I've been using the same cup for about a year now, so I'm really excited about this.
Ann Marie MADE this adorable cupcake jar! She knows that I have an obsession with all things cupcakes (my kitchen is covered in them) and I immediately put this in my kitchen with my cupcake collection. See?
(Ignore the fact that the radio and microwave say two different times lol)
I'm in love with this cupcake plate, and I'm definitely going to use the Starbucks gift card on my weekly Friday Starbucks run.
Oh yeah, and the cute polka dot fabric underneath?
The most adorable apron that I've ever seen!
I can't wait to wear this while baking!
I love everything and Ann Marie did such a fantastic job. It was great getting to know my two partners over the course of August!
If you want to sign up for the next Cara Box exchange, go on over to Kaitlyn's blog Wifesessionals. This is the first time she's trying out the new format, so I'm excited to see how it goes!
