Personal Style: Romping Around

There are certain clothing items that I have purchased, worn, and loved that I would have never guessed would be in my closet.

For example, a fedora, culottes, skinny jeans, maxi dresses, and now...enter the romper.

A ROMPER. WTF am I thinking? It's basically a onesie for adults...and it's glorious.

This gorgeous piece of clothing is the Drafted Petals Romper from Anthropologie (which I mentioned that I purchased in my post HERE) and I'm obsessed with it. It fits like a freakin' glove and is so insanely comfortable. It's just so easy to throw on and you look completely put-together and fresh. And BONUS! You can do squats in it and not flash your goods to everyone...believe me, I tried it when we went out. Squats could never be done while wearing a sundress.

But, and I learned this the hard way, it is kind of a pain wearing a romper when going out to a bar because you will have to go to the bathroom multiple times and having to get completely undressed in a bar bathroom is very intimidating and awkward.

Other than that, rompers are fabulous and even if you don't think you could pull it off, you should try them! That's why I love fashion, it pays off to take risks sometimes!
