The Globe Market (bonus personal style)
Wednesday night I got pretty sick (yay sinuses!), and was dead to the world Thursday and Friday, so today when I crawled out of bed all zombie-like and actually felt pretty decent, I needed to get out of the house. Hubs had some watches that needed new batteries, so we went up the street to Hertel Ave and dropped them off at Korona Jewelry and had some time to kill. The weather was actually really nice so we went for a stroll and decided to stop into the Globe Market for a quick lunch.
This is their newer Globe Market To Go location, on the corner of Hertel and North Park. It was my first time eating there, and their food definitely did not disappoint. Maybe it was because this is the first time in 3 days that I've had a real appetite, but a warm and toasty sandwich was exactly the thing I needed.
The inside was super cozy and it was nice sitting in front of the huge window and doing a little people watching.
Hubs had the Red Hot Burrito that had steak, onions, and peppers in it...
And I had the grilled brie and apple sandwich on multigrain bread. It was so simple, yet amazing.
You can visit their website HERE for menu and locations.
And here's a bonus picture of what I wore to lunch. Just a simple flannel and cardigan with my trusty pair of jeans. Can't go wrong with that!
