The Grove Music Festival
I love going to concerts. Wait, I don't just love going to concerts, I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to concerts! For me, concerts are the ultimate way to let loose and not worry about a damn thing and just dance your face off to the live music of your favorite artists. What could be better than that?!? I can't remember what my first concert was, but I can remember some of my favorite/most memorable ones: The Black Keys with Cage the Elephant, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Young the Giant, ZZ Top, and Backstreet Boys, just to name a few. What does this list of artists tell me? One, that I have an incredibly odd wide range of taste in music, and two, that I love to be at any concert where I can be in the middle of gigantic dance party!
That is why I'm sure that The Grove Music Festival will be one of my favorite concerts this year.
This is going to be one gigantic dance party of wonder and amazement. I've never seen ANY of these artists before, so I am so pumped! Macklemore is one of my new favorite artists. You will know him for his current single that exploded onto the scene:

But if you haven't listened to his entire album, you need to ASAP. He speaks about so many issues that are extremely relevant to young people today...he's definitely not a one-trick pony.
Big shout-out to our neighbor up north- haaaayyyy Canada! Niagara-on-the-Lake is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Buffalo and is so gorgeous. If you haven't been, it's definitely worth spending the day there!

Now that I have my tickets, my next decision will have to be "What am I going to wear?"
Since it's going to be in August, I'm assuming (and hoping) that it's going to be warm. I'll probably go with a graphic tank, a pair of shorts, flip flops (I live in Old Navy ones in the summer), and a smaller cross-body bag for my essentials!
