Thanksgiving Recap

How was your Thanksgiving? I hope that it was full of family, friends, and delicious food! I know this recap is a little late, but I had to work on Black Friday (yay retail!)

We are fortunate to have both sides of our family still living locally and they both get along really well, so we all got together at my in-law's house.  It was snowing like a bear outside, but that didn't stop us from having a super delicious and fantastic evening.

Now, here's one of my little secrets that you may or may not know.

I love cheese.

Seriously...cheese is one of the most wonderful and fantastic things in the universe, and I don't know what I would do if I was lactose intolerant.  And what do I love more than cheese?  Warm, gooey cheese.  YUM.

We tried something new this year as an appetizer.  Nicholas and I went to Nickel City Cheese & Mercantile and bought the Brie en Croute with cranberries...TO DIE FOR.  Warm brie cheese, cranberries, yummy pastry...sooooo good!  I may or may not have eaten half of it by myself.

My mother-in-law had the table set so pretty.

And the food was amazing...as usual.

And of course a holiday wouldn't be a holiday without our fur babies around!

Bella doesn't look amused.

We had such a great night and I hope that your Thanksgiving was wonderful!

And I will leave you with this little gem that my friend texted me that morning...you're welcome.
