Personal Style: The Pleather Skirt
Whenever I think of leather/pleather skirts, most of the time I picture women in the 1980's with teased hair crawling on top of cars in Poison and Whitesnake music videos. Thank goodness leather and pleather skirts of modern-day don't require teased hair and Brett Michaels, unless you are into that sort of thing.
I wore this outfit to my speaking engagement on Monday. I was invited to speak to a class at Villa Maria College about my experiences in blogging and social media. It was such a great time and I was so honored and happy that I was able to share my knowledge and tips about how to start a blog and become a successful blogger/social media user.
I am surprised to say that I have gotten a lot of wear out of this pleather skirt since I purchased it. It's so versatile, and can be dressed up for a night on the town with some cute heels and a tank, or dressed more casual like I did here, with a character sweater, tights, and booties.
Joe Fresh, I love you and your super cute clothing, but you aren't fooling anyone when you say this is a pug sweater. I've known a few pugs in my lifetime, and this is definitely NOT a pug. But I still love it all the same.
