Food Truck Rodeo
Last week, the very first Food Truck Rodeo was held here in Buffalo, and of course, I am a gigantic food truck groupie, so we had to attend! It was held at the Buffalo History Museum, and it was such a great location. For one, it was like 5 minutes from my house, and two, the grounds of the History Museum are so gorgeous and open and it was heaven walking around in the beautiful weather eating some fantastic food.
We took a mixture of "fancy camera" and iPhone pics, so here they are!
The food trucks in attendance were Lloyd Taco Truck, Knight Slider, House of Munch, Frank's Gourmet Hot Dogs, Hot Off The Press, Thai Me Up, Black Market Food Truck, R&R BBQ, and The Roaming Buffalo. I thought this idea was so fantastic to have all of the food trucks in one location. A lot of times it's hard to make it to where the food truck is stationed, and this was a great way to try the different trucks without driving all over the place!
This was BFF Krystle's first time eating at a food truck, so of course I made her get Lloyd Taco Truck because it's my absolute favorite.
Nicholas had the chicken tacos which were amazing as usual.
Krystle had the tricked out nachos which looked so good and super tricked out.
I wanted to try something new, so I had the buffalo chicken panini from Hot Off The Press, a newer food truck in Buffalo, and it was fantastic!
And of course, we had to try the truffle fries, which I believe were from Knight Slider. So good!!
Around the back of the History Museum is Mirror Lake and the Japanese gardens. It was pretty neat that we were able to take our food and walk around.
How beautiful is the scenery?
I really hope that they continue doing the food truck rodeo, because it was such a great night out!
