Thursday at Canalside Summer Lineup

With it being Thursday, I find it only appropriate to make a post about one of my favorite summer concert events...Thursday at Canalside! (Formally known as Thursday at the Square, Thursday in the Square, Thursday at the Harbor) This is a free summer concert series that runs from June 6 thru August 29. They moved the location from the heart of Downtown to literally canalside, which I feel was such a smart move because you get the beautiful scenery on the water, lots of room to move around and to sit, and enjoy the fantastic summer weather.

The lineup is as follows:

June 6: The Hold Steady with special guest Hollerado and Johnny Nobody June 13: Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros with special guests St. Lucia and The Room (so excited for this!) June 20: Steven Page June 27: Teddy Riley and Blackstreet featuring Dave Hollister July 11: G. Love & Special Sauce and Arkells with special guest The Drowning Men (obsessed with G. Love!) July 18: Los Lonely Boys with special guests Good Night Texas and Randle & The Late Night Scandals July 25: The Fixx with special guests Wang Chung and Indians August 1: Yonder Mountain String Band with special guest Railroad Earth August 8: Halestorm with special guests Highly Suspect and Melia August 15: An Evening with Todd Rundgren with special guest Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds August 22: Adam Ant and The Good, The Mad & The Lovely Posse with special guest Wicked Grin August 29: Lotus with special guest Aqueous
