Personal Style: Return of the Red Pants

red cheetah 3 So I just couldn't help myself...I had to rock the red pants two weeks in a row. I would have never guessed that I could love wearing these loud ass pants as much as I do, or that they could actually be so versatile!

I wore this outfit on Saturday to dinner and then to see Finesse Mitchell at Helium Comedy Club in downtown Buffalo. The show was so great, he was absolutely hilarious.

I was going to originally wear a white short sleeved peplum with this, and although it looked really cute, I had a sneaking suspicion that I might get cold throughout the night (since it seems like I'm always freezing). Well thank goodness that I went this route because it was incredibly cold during the comedy show, so I just rolled my sleeves down and I was good to go!

Red pants and an animal print top doesn't sound like it should work, but I think that it totally goes together. Because I brought in the hints of black and gold with my accessories, it really ties the entire look together. Don't be afraid to completely mix up your patterns and colors!

And a big shout-out to JC Penney...I found these great aviator sunglasses, and with a coupon that I had, only paid $8! Am I the only person who HATES spending a lot of money on sunglasses? I actually refuse to pay over $10 for a pair of sunglasses...I am notorious for breaking them, scratching them up, or losing them somehow. If I did buy an expensive pair of glasses I would be too afraid to wear them!
