Personal Style: Chambray & Animal Print

So you just bought your first chambray shirt...now what? There are so many ways that you can style a classic chambray shirt, but some people get stumped as how to put together a successful outfit. This is the problem that my one friend on Facebook had today. She posted an update that she bought her very first chambray shirt, and was wondering how to style it. Someone commented on her status and said to make sure that she doesn't wear it with jeans, but that made me think.

I actually wore chambray with denim this past weekend, and if done correctly, can be cute and fashion-forward. So today marks the first day of a weekly blog post I'm going to do for the month of April, entitled "WTF do I wear with chambray?"

For this week's look, I wore the same exact shirt and same exact pair of jeans, only one look is casual and another is for a night out on the town. In both looks, I also used animal print in different ways.

First up we have our casual look:

Chambray shirt, skinny jeans, leather cross-body bag, and animal print loafers. I would wear this to lunch, the mall, running errands, etc. It's cute and comfortable!

For our night out on the town look, I switched out the shoes and bag, and added an animal print belt to tie everything together:

Notice that I also added a red lip and unbuttoned another top button on my shirt to add a little sex appeal.
