Yes, that’s right. You read the title of this post correctly. And it’s exactly what it sounds like.

Selfie WRLD opened up in the Boulevard Mall last week, and my friends and I were invited to the VIP night to experience the fun and, of course, take a million selfies.

I’ve seen places like this in larger cities, so I was excited when I heard that one would be opening locally.

If you’re curious about the process and what to expect when you arrive, here is what we experienced and a few of my little tips to get the most out of your time!

When we arrived, they gave us a ring light which also held the phone, plus a bluetooth button that will allow your phone to take handsfree photos. I thought this was a fantastic idea so you can keep snapping multiple photos instead of setting the timer and running back and forth to your phone. I think that this would allow people to feel comfortable if they want to come by themselves so they do not need someone else to hold the phone and take photos.

Each ticket is for a one hour time slot. You may think that an hour is a lot of time, but trust us that it goes by SO fast. Especially if you are with friends and all want to get single and group shots inside the same room. I would plan your time strategically. Take a look at their social media, plot out the rooms that you most want to take photos in, and start with those first.

Bring multiple outfits! There are fitting rooms for you to change in, so bring a few outfits that can work in different rooms. I would suggest a few “neutral” pieces and not too many patterns. A lot of the rooms are more on the busy side, so you want to coordinate with your surroundings. I wore three different dresses- black, white, and a neutral animal print, and I feel like those worked for a lot of the rooms. I also suggest bringing your own props and accessories like jackets, glasses, hats, and fun jewelry.
