Date Night at Black Button Distilling

Let’s talk about date nights for a second. When you think of a “date,” what’s the first thing you think of? Dinner and a movie?

BORING!

Black Button Distilling is flipping the date night on its head with their fun cocktail experiences!

Black Button Distilling recently invited us to their tasting room for an immersive cocktail class. They had set up a long table inside of their location with everything set up to make own cocktails. I was excited to get into it and start shaking things up (literally!)

First, there were four little glasses set out to taste some of their spirits. We tried a gin, bourbon, moonshine, and bourbon cream. We also got to try a few of their condiments that they make with their spirits, I believe it was a ketchup, BBQ sauce, maple syrup, and Bloody Mary base.

After the tastings, it was time to get own to business. Each of us had a cocktail shaker and we took turns pouring out all of our ingredients into the container, shook everything up with some ice, and we created the beautiful drink shown below…and YES those are Lucky Charms marshmallows on top!
