Halloween Shenanigans
Happy Monday everyone! This past weekend our friends had a Halloween party. As you may know, I was stuck on what to be. I ended up picking something quick and cheap...
A scarecrow! I saw this cute makeup idea on Pinterest and decided to recreate it, and it turned out pretty good!
Nicholas also pulled a costume out his closet. He was Paul Bunyan! Although he did get a few people thinking he was the Bounty paper towel man lol.
But I think, by far, the greatest costume award of all time goes to my parents.
How INCREDIBLE do they look?!? My mom made those costumes in a few hours, even though it looks like week's worth of work! We actually bought a lot of the supplies from the Target dollar bins. It's fun looking at things and thinking how they could make good robot parts. I love it how my mom gave her robot some robot boobs lol. The front of my dad's costume says "Brew Bot" in LED lights from the Christmas section at Target.
Here are a few of the 500 pictures that I took at the party.
Is that Beetlejuice or Robin Thicke? I may or may not have tried to twerk up on him.
Angela, the wonderful hostess, made a variety of gross looking but delicious treats...including these two delicacies...
Shrimp brain!
Blood fountain!
Then the DJ arrived, and this was when things started to get a little weird.
And I ended up dancing with the werewolf and Gallagher in the zombie room and my ear fell off.
So that was my weekend! How was yours?
