3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

So, as a lot of you might know, yesterday was the debut day for the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection. Normally, I’m not a huge fan of Target collaborations (I personally thought the 2012 Holiday collab was disappointing) but this time it was different. I’m a huge fan of the regular 3.1 Phillip Lim line, but like many of my fellow frugal fashionistas, I will never be able to afford it. That’s why I was super excited when I heard this limited edition line was coming out at Target.

I assumed that it might be a little crazy at the store, so I pulled a page out of my “Black Friday Shopping” book and decided to get to the store right when it opened. I somehow convinced my poor mother to wake up early and go with me to Target. We got there about 7:50am and the store opened at 8:00. There were about 15 people in line ahead of me, which I thought was pretty insane, until I heard about the line of 150 people in West Hollywood. Now I don’t feel so bad.

In the end, I was able to get exactly what I wanted! Here’s what I ended up with:

phillip lim 1

Black Tote with Gusset

Yellow Top Handle Crossbody

phillip lim 2

Floral Shirt Dress

phillip lim 3

Drop Waist Dress

phillip lim 5

Floral Blouse

phillip lim 4

Boom Scarf

I’m so happy that I dragged my sorry butt out of bed on a Sunday morning for this collection. I can’t wait to wear my new pieces!

Did any of you get a chance to purchase any of the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target items?
