Personal Style: The Baseball Tee

Even when I’m dressing “casual” I tend to do it with a little bit of pizzazz. This outfit, for example, is what I wore to the brewery event that I posted about yesterday. I may be wearing a casual baseball inspired tee and jeans, but I added a little punch with my trusty wedge shoes, gold accessories, and leather cross-body bag. I was super comfortable all day, but didn’t feel like a complete scrub (oh, you know those days, when you can’t seem to get out of your yoga pants and hoodie even if your life depended on it.)

Cross-body bags should be in every girl’s purse collection. This is actually my first normal cross body bag which I do not consider to be a giant satchel. My mom actually bought it for me before my trip to Hawaii last year, and I have gotten so much use out of it. It’s perfect for shopping at the mall or for groceries, concerts, and events where you are going to be walking around and doing a lot of mingling. I don’t want to worry about lugging my gigantic bag around or having to leave it somewhere. Seriously, if you don’t have a cross-body bag already, you need to get one!

  1. I love my cross body bag too! I actually wear it all the time – I hardly ever change purses because it is just so versatile. Anyway, I love the baseball tee – so cute!

  2. I love cross body bags – they’re my absolute favorite type of bag. I bought a vintage coach off etsy a few months ago and I love it so much. I love how this outfit is simple but yet so pulled together.
