I’m a huge advocate for music and the arts. When I was in high school, I was in the theatre crowd, and some of my greatest friends were artists. So it’s no surprise that now I’m all grown up, some of my greatest friends are still artists.
Below is the press release provided to me by Brook D’Angelo of BFD Studio, an amazing friend and incredible photographer based out of Niagara Falls, NY. Please join her along with a multitude of fantastic artists at the closing reception of the Wearable Art & Celtic Art Shows at Wine on Third in Niagara Falls. You can enjoy a great evening full of creative art and delicious food!
Closing Reception: Wearable Art & Celtic Art Shows
Wine on Third hosted its first Wearable Art Fashion Show in February and a Celtic group art show in March. Now it’s time to retire both collections from the bar and restaurant to make way for a new artist’s show! This is your last chance to see this collection of fashion innovation!
Join us at Wine on Third, Friday April 19th, from 7pm-10pm for a closing reception and an opportunity to meet the artists and models. Art will be for sale right off the walls, while musician Nicholas Spacone performs.
The dresses are made from non-traditional materials such as coffee filters, duct tape, garbage bags, and old blueprints. Featured on the walls of the dining room are dresses by Lisa Crapsi, Artie Vanderpool, and the event’s mastermind, Mary Grace O. There are also fashion photos of each dress on display (and for sale) by photographer Brook D’Angelo.
In the bar area you will find the Celtic art by artists Becky Szewczuk, Bob Bieber, Bruce Verbeck, CEPA Artist in Res- Michael Brown, Shannon Barlow, Jason Buckley, Kelly Lang-Buckley, Kate Bukowski, more from Mary Grace O, as well as Brook D’Angelo.
Please join us in celebrating this unique collection for the last time!
