Personal Style: Statement Necklace & Chambray

I actually wore this outfit to work yesterday, only with a white button up because I was running late and black and white obviously go together.  But when I got home, I was curious as to what the outfit would look like if I swapped a chambray top for the white one, and I think it works!

I love a fabulous statement necklace, and my secret is that I buy 90% of my statement necklaces from Forever 21, they are so inexpensive and are actually pretty decent quality for costume jewelry.

  1. I am so into this chambray trend it’s ridiculous, and the one I bought looks EXACTLY like yours! I also own the 2nd F21 necklace you posted haha. You are really rocking that belt, who knew it would go with like… everything.

Unrelated (to this post) sidenote- next time you are at JCrew try on some pixie pants if you haven’t already. Let me know what you think. I am obsessed with mine but wear them as leggings (i.e. long tops/bum coverage is mandatory) but they are so much thicker and the stitching along the back of the leg is so nice. I have them in black but am considering getting navy ones too.

    1. I was surprised exactly how much I could wear the belt with!

And I keep hearing really good things about the pixie pants! I’m going to the mall next weekend, I shall try them on and let u know what I think. 🙂
